There’s an old saying that says…
“You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink.”
John 7:37, 38
Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’”
You and I can lead a person to Jesus, the Living Water but we can’t make them drink.
Mark 10:26, 27
They were even more astonished and said to Him, “Then who can be saved? Looking at them, Jesus said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.”
You and I can lead a person to Jesus, the Living Water but only God can make them thirsty.
