Mirror, Mirror

Genesis 1:26, 27

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

When God created man and He looked in the mirror of man He saw a reflection of Himself.

Hebrews 1:3a

And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature,

When God looks in the mirror of Jesus He sees an exact reflection of Himself.

2 Corinthians 3:18 (Berean Literal Bible)

And we all having been unveiled in face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image, from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

When God looks in the mirror of the believer He sees a partial reflection of Himself.

James 1:23, 24

For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was.

When God looks in the mirror of the non-believer He sees no reflection at all.
