“You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
Jesus says that there is no truth in the devil and that he is the father of lies.
Satan is a master illusionist who tries to get us to believe things that are not real. He’s like a mirage in the desert preying on our weaknesses and fears in order to get us to see things which are not there.
Today’s AI chatbots are one of Satan‘s greatest illusions deceiving the vulnerable (especially children) into believing that they’re alive and a friend.
A chatbot is nothing more than a machine whose brain consists of a series of transistors which are either “on” or “off” and its language is a language of 0’s and 1’s. A chatbot is not alive nor is it intelligent and it certainly isn’t anyone’s friend.
So how can we defeat Satan and defend against his lies?…
Matthew 14:25-29
During the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went out to them, walking on the sea. When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost!” they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus spoke up at once: “Take courage! It is I. Do not be afraid.” “Lord, if it is You,” Peter replied, “command me to come to You on the water.” “Come,” said Jesus. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water, and came toward Jesus.
When Peter looked to Jesus he could walk on water and you and I must learn from Peter‘s example. We must stay focused on Jesus if we are not to fall victim to Satan‘s lies and illusions.
