Right at the Door
Mark 13:31, 32
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.”
No one knows the day or hour of Jesus’ return (not even the Son).
Matthew 24:32-34
“Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.”
You and I must learn to recognize when Jesus is near, right at the door.
Matthew 24:42
“Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.”
Luke 12:39, 40
“But be sure of this, that if the head of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have allowed his house to be broken into. You too, be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect.”
You and I must live our lives as if the thief was coming tonight.
So…
Can you recognize when Jesus is near, right at the door?
Is the “Thief” coming tonight?
