When As Yet There Was Not One Of Them

Revelation 1:8

“I am the Alpha and the Omega”, says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Just as the Lord is all powerful, all knowing and present everywhere He is and He was and He is to come meaning that the Lord is eternal and not bound by time like you and me. In the eyes of the Lord there is no past, no present, no future - it’s all one in the same.

And just like the past has already happened, in the eyes of the Lord so too the future has already happened.

And just like the past cannot be changed, in the eyes of the Lord so too the future cannot be changed.

Psalm 139:16

Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;

And in Your book were all written

The days that were ordained for me,

When as yet there was not one of them.

Before Genesis 1:1 - before the Lord created the Universe - He already knew that you and I would come to believe because “in His book were all written the days that were ordained for us, when as yet there was not one of them”.
