The Water Faucet

John 7:37, 38

Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’”

Jesus is the Living Water who flows from the innermost being of you and me.

John 15:4, 5

“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”

As believers there is only one thing that you and I can do and that is to open ourselves up like a water faucet and allow Jesus, the Living Water, to flow through us into the world around us. Because apart from Jesus you and I can do nothing.

So…

Have you become a water faucet and allowed Jesus to flow through you?
