My Father and Your Father

After Jesus was raised from the dead and before He ascended into heaven He said this to Mary…

John 20:17

Jesus said to her, “Stop clinging to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I ascend to My Father and your Father, and My God and your God.’”

Think about this statement for a moment.

Here Jesus is saying that the Lord is not only my God and your God but He is also my Father and your Father.

So…
